Do you want to be more romantic with your sweetie but you're not sure how to go about it? If you're a guy reading this, good news--it's much easier to romance a woman than it is for a woman to romance a man. But men can be somewhat "romantically challenged" at times. As unusual and "unmanly" as this sounds, why not watch a soap opera for some romance tips? (Think about it--those guys are quite sought-after on those shows.)

Although most people on soap operas don't seem to have jobs (except for the cops, doctors, lawyers and nurses) and they do seem to have a lot of time on their hands (money too) that doesn't mean you can't get some romance tips from them. Granted, filling a sick or injured woman's hospital room with flowers can be quite costly and doesn't seem very original, it can be effective. Another unoriginal idea (but still effective) is making a romantic candlelight dinner for your honey. (We don't mean bringing in takeout, either.) Don't cook? Well, filling a room with candles always lets a woman know something is up....

Little Things Mean A Lot

Believe it or not, to women, there's a lot of romance in everyday life. Here are some everyday romance tips for men:

When you do something like fix your girl's bike up so she can ride it safely (without her asking you to), that's romantic.
If you write a note in the steam on the mirror when she takes a shower, that's romantic. (Or on her car window when there's dew on the windshield.)
A single red rose means "I Love You," (although a certain reality show takes a lot of the meaning out of that). Leave a rose for your lover in an unexpected place.
Make up a song about her. So sweet (even if it's silly)!

Help him out when he least expects it. (Mow the lawn before he gets home from work.)
Watch football with him (and be truly interested).
Make him his favorite meal.
Put a love note in his lunch.
