Romance Novel

A romance novel is not like real life, even the PG-13 romance novels. However, a romance novel can be entertaining. Just keep your feet on the ground.

Romance Novel

Does a romance novel depict love in real life? It's doubtful, but some romance novels are better than others.

Between the Sheets

See, now doesn't that sound like the title of a really bad romance novel? When it comes to romance novels, there's the Harlequin Romance types with all the flowery (and quite descriptive) language (you know--lots of adverbs and adjectives like "...his big, throbbing, hard...we have to stop there because this is a PG-13 site) written by authors like V.C. Andrews and there are the "classier" ones by authors like Danielle Steele. These are good love stories that might get just get a tad heated at times, but it's all like this site--very PG-13. We do have fun with the trashier romance novel though. For instance, what does Fabio remind you of? Probably the cover of a trashy romance novel, right?

If you want to find the keys to true romance, read romance books that are more along the lines of self-help books, not a romance novel. A romance novel should be read for entertainment purposes. Please don't delude yourself into thinking that anyone in the "real world" has any kind of romance like the ones in these books. It's almost like believing soap operas are like real life. And who believes those? So many of those characters have died, then miraculously "returned from the grave," only to find out they were never dead in the first place, but kidnapped or suffered amnesia due to a head injury from some kind of accident. Wait--this sounds like the makings of the next great romance novel!!!!
