	<title>Relationships</title>
	<description>
There are some days when all we want to do is to be alone with no distractions. Sometimes we even wish that we did not have any relationships to deal with. Although you can escape temporarily from any relationship that you are involved in, you can never get away from them for good (barring becoming a hermit). As a race of humans we would have never gotten this far without the help, cooperation, and companionship that relationships offer.

Unfortunately they can also be the bane of our existence and we can find ourselves also with a few relationships that we would be better off without. If you're not sure about which yours is, you might need to seek out some advice on relationships.

Having doubts about your relationships?
The romantic relationships that we have are some of the few that we actually choose. At work you are stuck with the people that have also been hired and you must get along with them no matter what. You were born into your family and as they say "you can't pick your parents", same goes for all of your weird aunts, uncles, and cousins. You might not like the butcher, but where else can you get that great cut of meat? So our lives are filled with relationships that we have no choice but to maintain and keep running smoothly.

So why do so many of us stick with those relationships that we can choose, but that make us miserable? Maybe we're miserable because we've found ourselves in long distance relationships. (This is usually not by choice, however. For example, look at the number of people separated by being deployed overseas by the military.)

Many of us tend to believe that we cannot find someone better than the person we are with and that's great if the relationship is rewarding, but you are selling yourself short if it does not. How can you expect to find the person that will really make you shine when you are hanging on to one that makes you feel dull and sad? This is NO way to find true love. We have to muster the power within us to walk away from a relationship that does not meet our needs - and that is easier said than done. But, there are many places to look for help in gaining the confidence needed to get out of a bad relationship.

Summing up thoughts on relationships
Even on the sites that many people are using to find online relationships, one can find the advice that they need to look at things from another point of view. Life is too short to waste on someone that does not appreciate you.
