Tired of the single scene, Stephanie decided to try online dating. She figured she didn't have anything to lose. At first, it was discouraging. The in-person meeting was a success, so Stephanie and Steve took their online relationship to the next level--actual in-person dating. After a year or so, Steve proposed, Stephanie accepted and they lived happily ever after.

A lot of online relationships turn out the way Steve and Stephanie's did, but many don't. In fact, you have to be very careful. Be wary of anyone who wants to have that in person meeting too soon.
